As 2025 draws quietly to a close, now is the time to look back on a year full of commitment, sport and rally experience. In this end-of-year period, we traditionally pause to reflect on what has been and everyone who contributed to it. At the same time, we look ahead with confidence and ambition to what 2026 has in store for us.
For the 65th anniversary edition, the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen packed out with some special touches, including Enzo Ide in the Idelco Ford Puma Rally1 as the front car. A real eye-catcher for the public and an extra attraction for the spectators. It was a brilliant edition, supported by a strong organisation, by a fantastic team of staff, loyal partners and the indispensable support of local services. With a convivial atmosphere in the rally centre, enthusiastic fans along the course and a deserved winner, we look back with pride.
This did not go unnoticed by the BRC promoter either. The 66th A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen, which will take place on 4 and 5 September 2026, will again count for the Belgian Rally Championship, in both Division 1 and Division 2.
And while the roar of the engines had only just died down, our team was already getting down to business. Respecting tradition but with an eye for innovation, the course for 2026 is being further honed. On Friday, a new special stage is scheduled, with roads on which rally history was already written in the 1980s. On Saturday, the stages will be longer and the number of regroups limited, ensuring a more compact race and an extra sporting challenge for the teams.
KP Rumbeke will not be on the programme in 2026. As the TBR Rally celebrates an anniversary edition, it was decided out of mutual respect to include this special stage in their programme once.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who was part of the story of the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen in 2025: staff, officials, partners, teams, volunteers and, of course, the loyal rallying public. We wish everyone a sporting and successful 2026 and are already looking forward with great enthusiasm to the 66th A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen on 4 and 5 September 2026, where passion, tradition and innovation will once again come together on the West Flanders rally roads.
