A&D Trucks & Trailers backs Omloop van Vlaanderen

No longer say Omloop van Vlaanderen but rather A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen.
A&D Trucks & Trailers, with several branches in Belgium, is strengthening its commitment to the Royal Automobile Club Midden Vlaanderen, organiser of the oldest rally in the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship. For the next three seasons, the company will become the name sponsor of the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen.

The family company A&D Trucks & Trailers is one of the strongest players in the transport sector, whose main activities are the assembly, maintenance and repair of all towed equipment. Managed by Christ and Daniel Vandamme, the company has established itself as a reliable and official Belgian importer and also offers its own brand A&D Trucks & Trailers.

Besides his passion for bodywork and trailers, Christ Vandamme also has a soft spot for motorsport. No doubt you have already seen him passing as a front-engine driver during "den Omloop". Christ is well aware that organising a rally takes up a lot of time and budget. It is in this context that A&D Trucks & Trailers puts its shoulders under the Omloop van Vlaanderen. Together, we can thus become pioneers of the Kroon-Oil Belgian Rally Championship.

"There is a lot involved in organising a rally race. A whole group of volunteers work on it all year. People who all share the same passion for rallying. People who do all this pro bono," Christ Vandamme says. "I therefore have the greatest respect for all these volunteers. Supporting youth, charities and volunteers has always been the approach in our sponsorship files. A&D Trucks & Trailers therefore wants to give the Royal Automobile Club Midden Vlaanderen an extra push. Hence, for the next three seasons, we are linking our name to the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen."
