Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN REGULARITY: a cast-iron and well-stocked field of participants!<\/strong><\/p>

With just under 50 teams at the start, the Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN, the regularity race during the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen, will be able to boast a particularly attractive and, above all, very strong field of participants next weekend! The leader in the REGULARITY65 championship may be missing for professional reasons, but all other title contenders will be on the appointment and will be challenged by some local specialists! While the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen will be opened by Enzo Ide at the wheel of a genuine Ford Puma World Rally Car, the regularity race will be opened by Willy Lux, winning co-driver from 1982, at the time alongside Marc Duez!<\/p>

The Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN REGULARITY gets underway on Friday evening with an opening stage partly in darkness. On Saturday, the regularity participants work through two loops of five different tests. Those who want to catch a glimpse of the historic cars will not only be able to do so on the special stages, but can also admire the cars in the 'regularity car park' (located in the service park in the Zwaaikomstraat, on the grounds of JB Motorsport) or in the 'regularity service area', an area in the heart of the service park reserved for the Rock n Roll Classics participants. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN REGULARITY. Entry there is free and adjacent is the 'circuit test' De Zoning. On Friday evening, the regularity tenors work the special stages just after the modern bolides. On Saturday, the competitors will follow a specific timing, to guarantee a high race rhythm without possible delay of the 'modern' rally section.<\/p>


REGULARITY65 vs REGULARITY50<\/strong><\/p>

There are two categories during the Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN REGULARITY. Pilots who like an extra sporting challenge will start in the 'REGULARITY65' category where the average speed is set at a maximum of 65 km\/h. Fans of regularity driving 'pur sang' can be found in the 'REGULARITY50' category. The maximum average speed there is 50 km\/h, but virtual stamp controls interrupt the rhythm several times.<\/p>

The regularity category gets the attention it deserves during the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen! Bjorn & Jens Vanoverschelde, sports directors: \"Those who know us know that we like to put on characterful events. And during the Rock n Roll Classics. OMLOOP VAN VLAANDEREN no different. Except for 1 regularity test and the circuit test 'De Zoning', all tests have been redesigned! Each regularity stage is different in character, which will make this edition extremely exciting and varied. The connection stages between the regularity tests are also very short, which will provide a high race rhythm. We have also worked hard to make the REGULARITY50 category more challenging by, for example, increasing the number of virtual stamp controls. This way, we also guarantee ultimate riding pleasure for this category. After all, it is the most accessible category to tick participation in the A&D Omloop van Vlaanderen off your bucket list.\"<\/em><\/p>

Besides the separate regularity car park and regularity service area, sporting developments will be followed throughout the rally weekend by the official 'rally radio' (RADIO I.R.O - 107.2 & 107.6 FM).<\/p>
